SAP replied on a ticket I opened for this issue. It is a problem with DB table ESH_OM_LOGSYSA. The table does not contain the required entries. They have advised me to implement note 1502296 (Too few ESH_OM_LOGSYSA entries after creating a connector). We will test this today and I will advise the result.
