Re: Can we raise exception and alert when validation fails in PI

Hii,

I have tried with XML validation for web service to proxy call and below is the result:

1. I am not getting alerts when I have enable the xml validation. But when I disabled the XML validation alert started coming for invalid request.

2. The alert configured is as below:

3. Also when I checked message monitoring with XML validation enable for invalid request,  i did not find any message in the canceled queue. But when I unchecked XML validation the error message started coming to the Cancelled queue.

4. The alert coming with XML validation disabled is very generic and doesn't give much info on error.

5. Can anyone please tell why alert is not coming when xml validation is turned on? Why messages are not coming to cancelled queue when xml validation is turned on.

6. Is anyother configuration required to achieve xml validation in alerts and cancelled queue?
