I have changed my datasource to "Microsoft ADS (Deep Hierarchy) + Database" and the repository for ume is also of backend type "LDAP" now. When I click on "validate configuration", it says test connection successful. But when i do my initial load first from AD and then for ume (I have selected the initial load job for ume is again ldap specific only) and I try login to idm ui with administrator user of AD, it does not go in. I can see all the users from AD are present in IDM (in nwa ui) which displays users on basis of datasource as ldap or ume. Could you please suggest about this if I am missing anything here.
My ultimate goal is, users of AD and SAP systems keep on using their existing password after go live and all ldap users can login to ume with their AD password. So this can be possible with the above approach, right? If not, could you please suggest/educate me about this as well.
