I figured out a smooth way to get the data from the DB, push that to a local excel file and then open that data in the file on the front end PC. Pushing it back to SAP wasn't so easily done unless we wrote it in VB. So that is simply as excel upload, if it would be helpful for you I can post my code for the upload though..
