Hi Yemi,

User BAPI_DOCUEMNT_CREATE2 for creating the document after successfull execution of    

BAPI_DOCUEMNT_CREATE2 then use BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2 to add the newly created document in destination structure (folder).
