I am new to SAP in the SD-MM module. I am looking at the process of individual purchase order whereby during sales order entry, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition item. The purchasing department creates a purchase order based on the requisition and the vendor ships the goods directly to you.
The problem that is occurring is the wrong calculation of delivery date. In the master record a planned delivery date of 10 days in MRP 2 and also a planned delivery date of 80 days in the contract. Source list has been maintained. When the PR is generated from the SO the right planned delivery date is being taken, that is 80 days from the contract BUT the calculation of the delivery date based on those 80 days is wrong. It is taking around 30 days only to calculate the delivery date.
When creating the PR manually, it is working fine.
