EHP upgrade logs

Hi ,

I am so keen understand the happening major steps and respective logs in each phase of the EHP upgrade.

Can anyone please let me know for the benefit of others as well.  I know ProcessOverview.zip,SAPup & SAPconsoleup are the major ones but still I would want to know more about the logs under /tmp and generating logs under /abap for each phase so that I can put tail -f "log name" and monitor.

Please shed more light on the check,preprocessing and execution phase and happening inner things.

Phases:

1.Initialization

2.Extraction

3.Configuration

4.Check phase

5.Preprocessing

6.Execution

7.Post processing

8.Summary

I would appreciate all your help.
