last semester we had a few online courses that had starting and ending dates, and instructors. Being online they had no rooms nor weekly schedules. To start with, we created regular events for them in SLcM, inserting event name, instructors and, starting and ending dates. The shedules inserted were in a such a way that they wouldn't conflict with other events the instructors had, but obviously that information was really irrelevant. Last December we went through documentation to see alternatives and the nearest solution we found were time-independent events, but as they don't have starting and ending dates, they weren't good enough.
How are you (if any) modeling this type of online courses?
