Java Script function to get the selected value of a Dimension in a Dimension Filter

Hi,

I am using DS 1.4 which is mapped with DS1(Data Source). My Objective is to fetch the value of selected Value of Dimension filter and pass on as parameter to a different Data Source (DS2).

I found that we have getdimensionName function to fetch the name of dimension filter but unable to find the function to fetch the selected value of Dimension Filter. We are using Bex Query as Data Source.

Please advice.
