Hi, Ablilash, no I'm aware of that formula. That doesn't work for my purposes, as it considers ALL data, not just the group data when alternating rows, Here is a screenshot of my report and when I apply your formula. Notice that the alternating occurs across groups. I want the first record of every group to start shaded. I need some sorta reset. Please can someone help, This is easily done for resetting shading when data in the Detail row. Thanks!
