Hi! I have a requirement to capture standard warranty and extended warranty with different start dates on the customer equipment master. Reason why there is different start date is because the extended warranty might be sold later and does not necessarily start after the standard warranty ends.
In SAP, there is only one master warranty field and associated start date for customer warranty. I have browsed through SDN and understand that there is a pretty 'standard enhancement' that we can do to introduce multiple warranties, i.e.
However I also read that there is a function sitting under Warranty Claim Processing that provides for multiple warranties but I am not clear as to which is the correct or more suitable solution to adapt.
Appreciate if someone can clarify this for me?
