Hi,
Cross check again if any line items is showing up under open items even throw the balance is ZERO.if so clear them throw GL Clear F.03 and try to save the GL Accouting by changing the removing the open item option.
so net impact its not triggering any postings while status change to open item or not.
but through back end you can make such changes with the help of Abaper.
