Functionality of standard report MC46

Hi Experts,

Could you please elaborate the functionality of MC46 report in material management? What is the purpose and use of this standard report?

Actually we are facing one issue to check slow moving item through t-code MC46 report.

Eg.  We have done goods issue of one material against the project recently(13.03.2016), but when we are executing this report for this particular material, its output shows that material has been last consumed 345 days back (Days since consumption). How it’s possible? Also let us know how report is calculating this last consumption dates.
