May I have your inputs on a scenario
Business is running on New GL and it has two business verticals - Motor Bikes & Cars
Motor Bike has say Profit Center A & Cars Has Profit Center B.
Both these business are on single company code XYZ and New GL is activated with Document splitting with Inheritance.
We have separate trial balance for each set of business i.e. Profit Center A & Profit Center B.
How easy it is to demerge the Motor Bike business and sell off .
Can the due diligence team be satisfied with Profit Center wise B.Sheet for Profit Center A.
Can the Demerger or sell off be a problem because both businesses are on single company code ?
Do you see any issues because of this design in case of Demerger, Sell off of a business verticals ?
