If you are trying in dev or sandbox..i would suggest you to try this step,
Create a dummy role and assign authorization object CRM_APPRVL with ACTIVITY and give full permission.
assign this Role to TEST_ANALYST.(apart from already existing roles)
check whether you are getting desired results.

Limitations of Express edition
Hi people,
I'm currently testing out the Sybase 16.0 Developer edition on RHEL. Turns out the limitation on the max. concurrent connections is a real problem for me, so I'd like to switch to the Express edition.
My main concerns are the following:
- The documentation mentions a limitation of 5 GB as max. DB size. Does this mean I can have a 20 GB device with 4 x 5 GB databases inside or that my entire instance of Express won't go past 5 GB total?
- Will it be easy to migrate devices created in Developer edition into Express edition?

Mass change in vendor master and financial docs
Dear Gurus
Our QA will be refreshed with production data. In QA, we want to mask some of the data as they may be confidential. There are 2 main areas affected:
1) Vendor master:
Name1 to be replaced by "Vendor name of" <Vendor no> "
Street4 to be replaced by "Street4 of <Vendor no> (this does not appear in LFA1)
postal code to be replaced by 1 for each digit
Email address to be replaced as eservices@gmail.com
Some of these data appear in structure, hence direct table change is not possible.
An ABAP program will be developed to extract and update the above base on some criteria eg account group, country code, etc.
What BAPI or function calls will make the above change.
2) Financial docs : posted financial docs to be masked in this manner:
Header text (BKPF-BKTXT) to be change to "Header Text"
Item Text (BSEG-SGTXT) to be changed to " Item Text".
What BAPI can be used to make these changes. Do not intend to use LSMW or XK99 for such change.
Really desperate for your answer. Pls help to answer the above especially when you have done similar changes before.

Changing the direction of a Dynamic Container
I want to change the direction of a Dynamic Container. It defaults to right to left, is it possible to change it to left to right, up to down etc? I've been digging through the elements but haven't found anything of help. Maybe the transition effect is done through jQuery instead of CSS?

Error while exceuting query based on composite provider

I have created composite provider ZTST_XX on HANA calculation view which is having mandatory input parameter (FLAG). Also from BW query to pass parameter value to HANA view, I have created corresponding FLAG variable to map the input parameter. However when I am trying to execute the query after filling variable value, it's showing below error

I have tried the above, but again the report is running fine but is displaying no results. This is when I enter dates into greater than and less than.
When I enter today's date into less than, results are shown but these are very limited and are showing dates from years ago, not the latest delivery.

Function module Runtime error - IWP_DELETE_IOBJ_DATA_BY_ATTR
Hello,
BI Info objects data deletion using function module - IWP_DELETE_IOBJ_DATA_BY_ATTR, returns runntime time error.
If the Info object have Componding object - FM returns runtime error. Object does't have Compunding object FM object data deletion step wrking fine.

Hi,
There is a FM CONVERT_IBAN_2_BANK_ACCOUNT for converting IBAN to bank account but be careful. In some countries like Luxembourg, when a customer asks for a new bank account, the bank will create a new IBAN but no other bank account. The IBAN itself is used as bank account. In SAP, you will find a value in bank account field, but this value may be only used inside SAP.
Keep also in mind that in SAP there is a functionality "Activate IBAN without Bank Account Number" and if you build a solution now, maybe there is a problem after activating this functionality.
