All of that I am already aware of, but there are definitely time when you need to YELL.
This has happened three times in recent history, and on all three occasions it was flagged as answered immediatelyby the User who posted the response. Not after a period of time. I had to reverse one post that was flagged as answered because the response was incorrect, and I needed the post to remain "active".
That's wrong, Ludek. You may disagree, but based on my experience with a thirty year history, it's unheard of for a User with that authority within a forum to be so anxious to pat themselves on the back. Incorrectly.
It's my post. I'm the one who can judge whether my concern has been properly addressed.
I understand the need to clean up, Having options other than "answered" or "assumed answered" would be helpful. I often have questions than are never resolved, and neither of these responses are appropriate.
Thank you. I can't really mark your response as answered because you didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. Basically all I got out of this is, "That's the way it is."
