Are you saying that you cannot pre-plan the raw materials that would be required to produce 1 sq. meter of carpet, and because of this you are unable to track the raw material inventory with your subcontractor ? Just want to make sure I understand the issue correctly.
Did you consider the option of maintaining 'By-products' within BOM?
